Lower the taxes. Work more efficient. Don’t have 5 workers watching and 2 working.

Spending $22 million on restoring was a stupid decision made last year when it would only have cost $6 million to remove it, as well as spending $5 million on a replacement water system for half of the golf course. Why does the city own a golf course?

Focus on real needs, not wants. If a majority of people do not benefit from a club, cut it. (Example pottery club). Also, sell the River Bend Golf Club.

Stop the virtue signalling and get back to basics, as per the mandate of essential services. I am on a fixed income and do not appreciate city council making my life unaffordable to cover for your failed competency in attracting and maintaining businesses or development. You have a lost of responsibilities, stick to it and let the provincial government or charities deal with your wish list. Get rid of your excessive bylaws, development permits, and anything else impeding affordability. Restaff Firehall2. Stop giving money to anything, and I do mean anything, no matter how small, not on your mandated responsibility list. We will be losing people and jobs this year show some spending cut backs rather than taxes.
